Merry Christmas yet again to you and yours, Gentle Reader. I hope your Christmas Day was warm, peaceful and full o' love.
(tech note: This is an accidental shot. I didn't check the camera's settings before I took this pic; I had left the camera on shutter priority and the flash was disabled as a result. I actually like this pic better than the one with the flash. Accidental photography sometimes yields good results! YMMV.)
Ah yes - sometimes the photos that are planned the best come out ... the worst.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was a nice day there Buck. It was gray here, foreshadowing the snowstorm we are getting tomorrow.
We hunkered down today in front of the fireplace, live-streamed movies from Netflix and nursed our various illnesses. Not quite what we had planned - and like your photograph I think it turned out OK in the end.
Glad you had a good Christmas! Work was work, but we made it through and I had a good time with my brother ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou're right about the way photography works out funny sometimes!
Merry Christmas! Nice sunshine, Buck. Waiting for more snow here, altho, Kris (in New England) looks to get really slammed while we might just get a couple inches.
ReplyDeleteBe safe, all!
Kris: It WAS a nice day here. Cool (50 degrees) but sunny. I hope you're feeling better today.
ReplyDeleteJeff: Thank ya, Sir. I'm glad you got to spend time with your brother.
Kath: Here's hoping the snow gives ya a wide berth.
A belated Merry Christmas sir! A day off here... affords time to peruse and what-not... well, the what-not will come later. Good to see you. Regards, Alison
ReplyDeleteHope you had a good one, Buck! I did...:)
ReplyDeleteHi Bick, I'm late in posting Christmas wishes for you. I hope it was a nice day. I also like the picture very much.
ReplyDeleteMaybe with the election over, Thanksgiving and Christmas past, and guest leaving tomorrow, I can make a better attempt to get back to reading and commenting on blogs again.
Merry Christmas, Viejo!
ReplyDeleteAnd btw, that's a helluva photo.
It is all about the light - great pic. For the most part things went well over Christmas. Today we take Toby's mom back to Lubbock. It's almost over.
ReplyDeleteAlison, Christina, Sharon, Rob, and Lou: Thank you all for the good wishes and kind words!
