The Pentagon comes calling, two and a half minutes after I published my post rant on the new Air Force motto immediately below:
In other motto news... it seems like the troops have a mixed bag o' reactions, as well.
If a lifetime can be likened to a day, then this is Happy Hour!
That's just a little bit more than creepy. They sneak into your house to pilfer data and don't even leave a thank you note?!
ReplyDeleteSomeday you're gonna have to teach me how to post a page like that. Or try to teach me -- I still haven't mastered the link-embed thingy.
Ah. Would that I could teach ya how to post a page like this! You need certain tools... SiteMeter, to begin with, followed up with a good screen capture tool... to do this. In other words: I opened the SiteMeter page with the specific visit record, took a screen shot of the SiteMeter page with my image management program (saving same), edited the image (just a simple crop), saved the image, and finally posted the image just as one would post ANY photo.
ReplyDeleteThe embedded link thingie is easy... and I know you know how to do it, coz I've seen your embedded links!
Just as I suspected. I'm waaay under-equipped. So it goes.
ReplyDeleteI can do a video embed, but still haven't mastered doing the link with the HTML codes. You tried to teach me!
At least it isn't............A Global Force For Good.
ReplyDeleteBut the Aim High was a good one. You need to go to the website for Eddie's Airplane Patch out here in the Mojave. The Air Force Flight Test Center has a bloody paragraph! And it is on the big signs at the North Gate and the Rosamond Gate.
I'm not surprised the new motto is on the base signs. That said... I remember grinning each time I drove into Vandenberg AFB (my first-ever assignment in the "real" AF) and seeing the HUGE SAC logo and the "Peace Is Our Profession" motto on the base signs. Now THAT was a motto!
