Irises

Just mucking about with the camera this afternoon...

As the pic titles say... irises... under my cherry tree.  As always and ever, click to embiggen.  Those lil bugs sure do like the blooms.

    All those shots are great, but the ons that are most paintable are the first and third ones - due to the light. I like the last one for the close-up and compostition.

    I REALLY miss the lilacs, Laurie. And the Lilac Festival. Hanging out in Highland Park during the festival was one of the bestest fun things to do in Rachacha.

    Lilacs are early this year and will likely be mostly gone by festival time. They are about peak right now.

    Laurie: Dang. That's too bad about the lilacs being gone for the festival. OTOH, one can enjoy them without the crowds, no?
