Mission Accomplished

Beer?  Check.

Cigars?  Check.  Multiple.

Single-malt?  Check.  Multiples thereof, too.  But not to excess, of course.   We were safe to drive home.

War stories?  You bet... but mostly of the leadership/management sort, given and received.  That would be a function of age, yanno?

Earlier this evening:

Buck and His Beloved.

Buck and Dad, just in from the smoking lounge.  Note the bag at left.  Heh.

  2. Great reunion shots... very handsome son you have there! And... I'm heading back to Red Wing Nation (since even we Canadians mock the TO Maple Leafs) area!

  7. Ah - SN1 and his wife look beyond happy; she looks positively joyous as if she's going to come out of her own skin. Beautiful pic Buck.

And funny in the kitchen - you both stand the exact same way with just your heads tilted in different directions.

I love observing genetics in action. Especially when it's in celebration of a warrior's return.

Thank you SN1 for your service!

  8. Glad to see he made it home safe and sound. Though, I'm certain, not as glad his kin, judging by the photos.

A big thanks to him for his service.

  9. Good on ya, my friend. It was always good when the warrior/sailor returned from far flung places to his home, his heart, his love.
    And go KINGS!

  10. Those are some happy photos - especially the smile on Irma's face. You men are much more poker-faced, but the eyes give you away.

I bet the grandkids are beyond beautiful.

You certainly know how to throw good sons, my friend.
