Had a little bit of trouble figuring out what it was...the profile is obviously of a M1911A1 govt model, but the grip looked a little too short for a govt model (more of an officer's model), while the frame itself looked like a full size govt model. However, I figured out that the gun was sitting back at an angle, something I didn't initially perceive, so it's definitely a M1911A1.
Oh, there was a woman in the picture? This would be reason #84 why I'm still single.
I noticed the stockings first, then the gun...although I think I'd reach for the gun first, if only to move it out of the way in the interest of self preservation.
Not too bothered by the gun Buck but I do find a lot of glamour in those shoes. I love them!
ReplyDeleteAlison, That's JUST what I saw first! Totally great shoes!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure all the guys will go for the gun and the stockings -- in which order, tho??
Now, that's what I'm talkin' 'bout! Good decision, Buck! This blog needed a little eye candy. Nyuk...
ReplyDeleteThat could have SO been my Momma...seriously!
For most of us who peruse this here blog, she could be our momma!

ReplyDeleteAlison & Kath: Glad you liked the shoes.
ReplyDeletere: ...the gun and the stockings -- in which order, tho?? Stockings. Gun.
Andy & Glenn: Yeah, I figgered you guys were in the same boat I'm in.

SHe looks like a LOT of fun -- could've been my mother-in-law!
ReplyDeleteI, for one, do not for a single moment miss garter belts. Livin' in N'Awlins, I've even abandoned pantyhose! Free at last, free at last!
Moogie: Garter belts have their place, even today. But you knew that... ;-)
ReplyDeleteMan, reaching up there in the throes of romance might have a...disarming effect on a fella. Or result in a stiffening of resolve, one.
ReplyDeleteHeh. You crack me up, Rob! ;-)
