Lost in Translation

The Second Mrs. Pennington advises me she shared the above photo of herfineself with Best Friend Junko.  In so doing she included Junko's note of thanks, seen here in its entirety, or as much as was sent on to me...

And this is Babelfish's take:
Pola, is to be, stoutness. It is seen. As for the photograph which now is sent I having, the [ru]! The file it has done in the place where it is seen immediately! Because to that now retention (the navel it is) it did even in my telephone, it is seen immediately! Don't you think? it is my house of Ikebukuro which meets with Pola lastly. Thank you
Heh.  Stoutness!

Update, not three minutes later:  TSMP sent this along as I was creating this post:
Here is a more common translation....
She said:  Yes, I can see attachments.  I have a copy of that photo too. Just as I was about to open it, my computer failed! But since I saved it on my phone, I was able to see it.  It was at my place in Ikebukuro, wasn't it.  Thank you
So much for Babelfish, eh?

  3. Moogie: Heh.

Kath: We exchange e-mails occasionally and she reads EIP once in a while.

re: football. I don't watch the pros... can't stand them, to be perfectly honest. But I AM watching the Beloved Wings, as we speak. Second intermission and they're down to Chicago, 3-2. Good game.

  4. Google translate works a little bit better, but the human being still reigns supreme, ne?

Paula, I feel OK. I can see.

  6. Hey Buck, side note: I had never used Google Translate before. I saw Bec mention it.

You remember that Chinese in my sidebar? I tried it out on Google: "Because LSU is terrible at football, I laugh! And, you suck"

Got a good tip today...thanks Bec!

  7. Bec: Google Translate IS consistently better than the others, at least in my estimation. I used the Babelfish version here for the comic effect... which I'm sure ya noticed.

Andy: Bec ALWAYS comes up with the best links and stuff!

  8. You probably don't know this, but every Japanese woman I have seen naked, reminds me of a greek statue. Have you ever run your hands over marble and feel how smooth it is? Especially the transition to hips. American woman seem to feel more like a Ford pickup-truck in comparison... This thought comes as I view a perfect specimen of a beautiful Japanese woman, who could very well be my next greek statue to run my hands over. OK, what do you think, romantic enough?

  9. OK, what do you think, romantic enough?

Works for me! It remains to be seen how my women readers will take this, tho. ;-)

re: You probably don't know this...

You're right on that particular point. (insert another big-ass grin here)

  10. Further... I could add Thai women to your "Greek statue" sentiments, too. I prolly shouldn't have said that...

Just be polite... that's all I ask.
