The sweetness: SN1, granddaughter Felicty, and great-granddaughter Mya are in P-Ville today. The most happy coincidental effect is the playoffs begin for the Wings this evening and hockey is always better when enjoyed with those you love (insert smiley-face thingie here). There will be beer, cigars, and Macallan's in abundance later on today at El Casa Móvil De Pennington.
The light: blogging.

Just for Grins and Giggles... Today's Ramirez:
Heh.
It's always a good day to enjoy family; adding in the gustatory delights and I'm sure everyone will be relaxed and happy!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the visit! Looks like a beautiful day for it, too!
ReplyDeletei'm glad you came over to curtains, buck - i had no idea that active military had no first amendment rights - or maybe i did know and just put it to the back of my mine - the policemen i spoke with said they knew exactly who the military were at the rally as well as those "packing heat" and they'd rather have a bunch of rightwing radicals packing heat than one person on the other side as they're more likely to go nutz!
ReplyDeletemind - not "mine" - eek!
ReplyDeletere Sweetness - NICE!!!
ReplyDeleteOh!!! - Hand someone the camera, or get out a tripod or something...4 generations of Penningtons.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, NHL playoffs begin tonight for both of us. I'm surprised Michelle hasn't been over to brag on her Pens yet.
ReplyDeleteWow -- 4 generations AND MacCallan's! What could be better! Enjoy the Sweetness!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the cartoon!
Enjoy SN1 and your granddaughter and your great-granddaughter - what fun! And hockey to boot!
ReplyDeleteP-ville was swinging that night, I bet.
ReplyDeleteLoved the cartoon, too. Clap. clap, clap, clap.
Sounds like a perfect, Buck!
ReplyDeleteAnd, once again, Ramirez is dead on.
I love those girl's names - so pretty.
ReplyDeleteHope you had fun.
Thanks, all. Last evening was a great good night, all things considered.
ReplyDeleteNanc: Thanks for dropping by!!
Glad to hear it was a great day, Buck! So, did you change a diaper?!
ReplyDeleteBuck, Glad to hear you had a good time with the family. There is nothing like spending time with loved ones, especially ones we don't see very often.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the Ramirez cartoon!!!!
Christina: I don't do diapers! Well... not any longer, anyway. Besides that, there wasn't an opportunity. Felicity got overcome by events, which is to say too many other relatives to visit, and didn't make it by El Casa Móvil De Pennington. "Next time," I'm told.
ReplyDeleteSharon: You're oh-so-right about family!! It was good to spend time with Buck.
