Well, there ya go, Buck - you need to wander further up North. I just found a heck of a deal on 20 acres with a house and garage for under $40K. Garage means shelter for sensitive toys you can't entertain now. It's also likely a little less windy right there and will certainly be cooler when summer hits. Yep, just sayin'
ReplyDeleteAh, Lin. That property sounds pretty inviting, and as few as six months ago I'd be tempted... to check it out, at the very least. But... the state of my 401(k) is such that a jumbo bag of M&Ms is completely out of the question now.
ReplyDeleteWe're all of us pretty much in the same boat in that space, I fear. But at least there's enough left to pay for my dental work... so far. There may not even be that much left at the close of this month, the way things are going. Thanks, Barry. Your change has completely screwed my hope.

Nah... we just rode it out. I think the WX Channel was exaggerating just a wee bit, truth be told. We probably had steady 40+ mph winds with gusts that might have reached 50. Maybe.
