Trailer Park Happy Hour

Inspired by a post by Ann From Montana... but not quite as photogenic. It's all in the subject matter, ya know. (Insert smiley-face thingie here)

These shots were taken about ten minutes ago. And now it's back outside to finish as we've begun.

  1. Hee... but Rub it in - bare feet!! I love winter and snow and cold but a little warm sounds good about now.

Great catch on the inhale :) !

The running back and forth, it's fun, huh?

And thanks for the mention and link!

    Yeah! For the most part...

    EVERY day, Michelle!

  5. Dang, that's one dark beer. And that's one fat stoagy, though there could be an optical illusion working here.

  6. I thought this was one of those "find the seven things that are different" picture pairs. Let's see: cigar in different place. less beer in glass. hmm.. need five more.

  7. Great pictures Buck! You look totally relaxed and mellow.
I loved Ann from Montana's pictures too!

  8. Dan: Glad to be of service. ;-)

Bob: My fave beer: 1554. The ceegar is a run-of-the-mill Acid, if there is such a thing. Quite tasty, on both counts!

Phil: I think you hit the high points!

Sharon: It was just that sort of day. The neighbor came over and had a beer with me about a half hour after these pics were taken. The mood was obviously contagious.

And ain't Ann great with the camera? She does some REALLY good work!

  9. Wow, you look very laid-back and relaxed. Nice.

I'd still be wearing socks, at least, and probably a jacket. I don't like feeling cold!

  10. Buck, you look like life is treating you grand. Ann's photos are gorgeous, but that must have been work to run back and forth in snow shoes. This could be a meme...

It hit 79 degrees yesterday, Christina... FAR from cold! Which explains the bare feet, et al.

Lou sez: ...but that must have been work to run back and forth in snow shoes.

My thoughts, too. It was MUCH easier for me to shoot these pics. I did have to watch out for stickers in the grass, tho. We all have our burdens to bear... ;-)

  12. Other than the wind it was very nice yesterday. Glad to see you enjoyed it! My personal opinion is: if it ain't gonna snow and actually BE winter, then winter might as well get a move on it and spring begin.

  14. 79 degrees?? Bragger!!!

And to think I was excited when it reached 57 here in the Pacific North Wet on Saturday. At least the sun was out, and I could take my jacket off.

Good to see you enjoying a few of life's finer pleasures.

  15. That's what I'm doing tomorrow - beer in the sun.

It's supposed to shoot past 80 and my calender is clear! Time to get my tan going.

Agreed! Ya know... I thought, seriously, about turning on the AC yesterday. It got pretty warm in the late afternoon, but the wind was too high to sit outside comfortably.

    BR sez: 79 degrees?? Bragger!!!

Forecast sez warmer still today: 82.

Daphne: Same sort of forecast for us today, as well.

Just be polite... that's all I ask.
