"What the Hell is Going On?"
I first noticed this "rainbow effect" many, many years ago. But I also knew exactly what caused it. The rainbow effect generally followed a day spent mushroom hunting in the Oregon forests... but we won't go there, Gentle Reader. Dang... Cat. Bag. And so forth. In the "Department of General Disclaimers:" That was then, this is now.

this... made me laugh.
ReplyDelete:D
I used to love to make rainbows with the water hose when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteThat video made me laugh as did your "mushroom hunting in Oregon." It also reminded me of the Taos Hum (google it for all sorts of info) which became quite the joke around Taos. There were people who were quite serious about the Taos Hum. I bet the lady with the water sprinkler would be able to hear the hum if she lived in Taos.
ReplyDeleteI think if I was her, I would be more concerned about all of the criminal activity in my neighborhood (as evidenced by all of the sirens in the background) than I was about a rainbow in my lawn sprinkler.
ReplyDeleteSusan: Me, too. Lots!
ReplyDeleteBecky: After a day in the forest?
Lou: There are a LOT of hippies in Oregon. I still know a few, too. Most of the ones I know have grown up, one or two haven't. I'd never heard of the Taos Hum before... but then again, I learn something every day.
Amy: Maybe those are ambulances? Or fire trucks? But yeah... I hear ya!
that made me thristy...like the gubment i guess. Personally, i think she has been sniffing too many contrails.
ReplyDeleteOH. MY. GAWD.
ReplyDeleteAnd, she votes!
