The Abbreviated Monday Post

For hockey fans only… video of Henrik Zetterberg’s day with The Cup, in Sweden. Bonus: good shots of Emma, too. I’d post the video here, but videos from NHL.com do wonky things to the blog.
Too bad, that. But you should go visit KK if you’re a hockey fan, and you MUST go visit if you’re a Red Wings fan. Ditto my last if you appreciate beautiful women.

  1. Speaking of Hockey Buck...Thursday I am heading down to Dayton to get a look at some of the "Tip" Zubov(Dallas Stars) gave my youngest this past week, after he moved some of his stuff to NY. Seem he had some stuff he wanted to get rid of, so instead of a cash tip, he gave the 2 drivers some fine digs...guess when you are making $4 million a year, you can afford to let some of the stuff go....will be interesting to see what all the son decides to keep for himself.

  2. Astute observations, huh? Setting the bar kinda high for me! Feeling a little pressure, but I'll give it a shot:

Great video! Awesome to see Hank get his day and spend it giving back to his old community.

Almost enough to keep the hockey cravings at bay...almost.

  3. Pat: That will be interesting! Take your camera and blog it!

Buck: Kukla's Korner has been posting vids (from NHL.com, of course) of the Wings and The Cup all summer... they did a two-part sequence on Babcock up at his summer home on some lake in Saskatchewan, which wasn't too far from where I was stationed in Fortuna, if I have my geography right. You're right... this sort of stuff almost keeps the Jones at bay, but not quite.

  4. Emma is beautiful, that's for sure. Hank would be too without all that hair.

  5. Amy sez: Hank would be too without all that hair.

Not into the hippie look, Amy? ;-)

Not so much. I grew up in the 80s - facial hair wasn't really the thing then.

Just be polite... that's all I ask.
