Most of you have noticed Blogger's word verification feature has taken on a "new look" lately... and that ain't A Good Thing. I turned my word verification OFF this morning, simply because the new word pictures are nearly impossible to read. I've had to make four or more attempts at deciphering the word puzzle-pic at numerous blogs today and it's extremely irritating!
If you don't like this new "feature," go here to complain! You'll have to join the group first, though, but it's a fairly easy process. Hell, this Ol' Geezer (that would be me) figured it out, so it can't be THAT hard, eh?

I'm glad to know that I am not the only one who was having trouble today. I just took a wild guess and hoped for the best each time I had to figure out the word verification. Frustration seems to be the word for the day with my computer.
ReplyDeleteAnd I just thought it was me! I hate that crazy word verification
ReplyDeleteI went there Buck and signed up and added my two cents. I did that yesterday. Today is Tuesday, I think. I see where one Blogger guy said he was passing the complaints along to see what can be done about it. Lets hope something works. Thanks for your help and pointing me in the right direction, Buck.
ReplyDeleteThere was a skit on Saturday Night Live about a mumbling pilot played by Chris Kattan talking a frazzled stewardess through landing a 747 over the radio. She couldn't understand a single word he said. It was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteBy the third or fourth time a "captcha" is displayed when I'm trying to submit ONE post...it never fails. I think back to that.
Thank you VERY MUCH for the link. I was getting extremely pissed at having to type four or five tries at words before my comments would be taken. I'm heading to register my complaint now.
ReplyDeleteI think this whole mess began over the weekend, but I'm not sure. I know I've been having trouble for a couple of days now. And thank you all for complaining to Google. Things don't... can't... get better unless and until they know it's broke and people are dissatisfied.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was just me also. Old eyes ya know. How did you turn it off?
