I Lied

Well, not technically, Gentle Reader, as the existence of this post testifies. But I don't have anything meaningful to say (ed: As if you ever did...). It's the lack of meaningful content that prompts me to say "I lied." But sometimes it bees that way. I've yet to complete making "the rounds" and don't have the first clue as to what's going on outside of my little corner of the world. I haven't even looked at the news, but that's probably a good thing.

It's a strange and crazy sort of existence when one finds oneself still drinking his "morning" coffee after the sun has set. Upside down, we are.

'Tis the season.

  1. I've been missing you! Course that's all my own fault. Going to catch up on what I've been missing here, and first off I see you got your days and nights switched.... I shall read on...

  2. I did not tag you with the Christmas thing so as to save you from such silliness - your welcome. But then again, you would have had something to post.

It is 10:00 here, and I am still up - Yikes! Actually, I don't sleep as well when Toby is gone. Curling up next to the dog's beehind is just not the same.

Hey Laurie, I've been missing you and thinking of emailing you.

  4. Lou and I are on the same page, Laurie, re: e-mailing you. I've popped in to your blog once a day during your latest hiatus and see posting has been light. I figured there's two possible answers to your absence from the 'net, and both of 'em have to do with the fact you're "otherwise occupied" these days!

    ;-)

Lou: As I said on your blog: Thanks. And 10:00 pm? That's still "prime time," in these parts! But I hear ya about not sleeping well in the absence of Your Main Squeeze. It took me the better part of two years to get used to sleeping alone...and I still don't like it!

Pat: Good Luck today, Bro! I'll pop over to your place later this evening to ensure things worked out...

  5. I don't know how else to answer about the picture sizes. The last one is small. Sorry for that. I just got a letter from an older lady whose brother was at Camp Sendai when I was there. He passed away in 1999. He would be 74 she said if he was still alive. Anyway, she wants to send all of his photos here for me to scan so we can show the pictures he took. So if I get to scan them, they will be larger to look at. She said she might also scan them but to start with she will scan a couple and send along to see if they are ok.

    Thanks for your visits.

For us old folks, it is a weary time of year. So as it winds down may I wish you and your family a very happy and healthy holiday and a prosperous new year.
