What a terrible day. First the Cubs lose, Three straight games. Winning the division is great since its the first time in a looooong time, but still, three games straight. Now Florida loses to LSU. A great football game but again, a heartbreaker. Woe is me.
ReplyDeleteThat crowd isn't the only ones who showed truly unsportsman like behavior. Teebow's arrogance, teasing and taunting the fans in the stadium and the LSU players showed him to be arrogant and immature. I've never liked him, and his crying like a baby after losing the game didn't help. Still I expected better from the LSU fans.

ReplyDeleteBut the game!! That wasn't so much a game as it was a knife fight. Wow. It'll be a long time before we see another like it. But then I said that about the Auburn game. This has to hurt...to be SO good and to lose such close games.

Teblow should not have been mocking the crowd...meanwhile LSU, who I dislike as much as Florida, pulls it out....which is OK, I don't want the Buckeyes ranked #1 yet....the OSU Defense completly shut down Purdue(23-7) with the Boilers only scoring on the second team "D" with 10 seconds left....

Buck, yes, he is a good athlete, but he lacks character. He was mocking and taunting the crowd, calling them paper tigers and losers, and no doubt using the very same obscenities the crowd was shouting back at him. What really sunk him in my eyes was the comentator's description of the blatant disrespect Tebow used to show to his mother.

Sigh, my longhorns lost again and are for all practical purposes, out of the running--for anything.
