I'm reminded of the ol' joke... "If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot 'em?" I'm certain I'm not alone in this regard.
It would have been better if Abbey Road was playing in the background.
ReplyDeleteYou're right...it must be a boomer thing. I was in born in '66, and despite watching it twice, the meaning escaped me until I clicked on the Abbey Road link. I did enjoy the music, and found the video to be oddly entertaining. Reminded of the opening credits of the "Monkee's" more than anything.

ReplyDeleteIn the "stranger than fiction" department... I spent three years in London and have been back twice since living there and never thought about seeking out Abbey Road. Not because I'm not a Beatles fan... I AM. I've bought three copies of Abbey Road over the years,
