That ad is neat. But the little part of me that's OC immediately looked at that small apple slice that was turned the wrong way and wanted to turn it so it faced to the right like the other two. but maybe that small irregularity is what makes it art though? Didn't it used to be the other way around? Art is order...oh well. And as for Miley, definitely no art there...none at all. IMHOP,
LOL on the cartoon, but the very first thing I thought of upon viewing the AA ad was the roof-line of the Sydney Opera House..
ReplyDeleteMe too... on the ad.
DeleteLove the cartoon and ... how sad at the same time. The pic is seriously cool and I too thought of Sydney.
ReplyDeleteYup on both counts, Kris.

ReplyDeleteThe piece of apple facing the wrong way is true to the Opera House roof line (I googled, just to make sure).
DeleteI never noticed that about the Opera House. Live and learn.
ReplyDeleteThe cartoon was great. The add though tells me to think about wintering over in Sydney. Never thought of doing that before...
ReplyDeleteWintering in Sydney certainly wouldn't be a BAD thing!
DeleteBrilliant! - I took a trip to their website - am fascinated by creative visual depiction of information and these ads are very well done.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the brilliance of the ads, Anne.
DeleteApple-as-Opera-Houe. . . I like it. . .
ReplyDeleteThank ya, Sir.
