The current weather, according to the WX Channel: 89 degrees and thunderstorms.
Shades of
Mississippi!
Coz that’s exactly what our weather reminds me of right at this very moment.
Hot.
Humid.
And maybe we’ll get a lil rain before it’s all over.
But… the skies are oh-so-interesting now... to me, anyway.
YMMV, as always.
Here are three views of our current sky-scape I took about seven minutes ago.

Looking WNW... the direction the storm is coming from
Well, did you get any of that rain? We got some of it, maybe 1/2 inch on one of the fields, not much at the house. Hopefully more tonight.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Mississippi skies, too. What I've seen of them. Been glued to the TV the last couple of days.
ReplyDeleteWe got some rain this weekend and it was quite lovely.
ReplyDeleteI never learn. Every time I read a post of yours concerning the weather, I am amazed that you have any. I always think of NM as being dry and hot, period. Shame on me!
ReplyDeleteJenny: It spit on us just enough to make the Green Hornet look like the Green Leopard. The weathermen would say we got a "trace..."
ReplyDeleteBecky sez: Been glued to the TV the last couple of days.
Me, too. It's been pretty danged good, too.
Lou: The best part is our temps are MUCH lower this morning... 79, as I type.
Jim: Well, you're pretty close... we ARE dry and hot most of the time! Well... "hot" is relative. I think we're more like "warm."
