As for the other sports... meh. I never watch the NFL or NBA and only watch a handful of baseball games in a year's time... usually just the World Series, but I'll watch the division and league championship games if the Tigers are playing. The only other sport I enjoy as much as hockey is college football and EVERY Saturday in the Fall is an all-day football orgy. That said, I'm watching a lot of the Olympics this year. But maybe there is a lifetime saturation point. All I know is these days I seldom watch ANYTHING unless it involves one of "my teams." Oh, I'll occasionally watch a good NFL game between teams I don't follow, but I don't go out of the way to seek them out. Will watch NBA finals, and occasionally the nights hi-lights on Sports Center just for the skill and artistry displayed, but certainly not for "thrill"/"suspense" of the game. And as an ex scholarship tennis-player I rarely watch any of it any more. After one's seen a thousand great back-hand passing shots how many more do I need? Am I clinically depressed, or just jaded? (PS: I've watched almost ZERO of this Olympics so far, lol.) How ironic that in the days of cable, internet and sat global tv, sports have never been more avail--coverage I would have killed for years ago--yet I increasingly have lost interest..virgil xenophonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14577165785872035948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18232353.post-596655523554059192014-02-14T09:28:12.361-07:002014-02-14T09:28:12.361-07:00Ah.
