That's putting things mildly. The prof critiques an e-mail:
You can't make this shit up and who would want to, anyway?
I need a new tag for stuff like this, something along the lines of "idiots."

"...new tag..."
ReplyDeleteHow about, You can't fix stupid?
That would work.
DeleteYou know what bugs me the most about this? The prof made no mention of the young twerp's use of 'do' when he should've written 'due'. 'Do to'? Seriously?
ReplyDeleteI missed that!
DeleteUnfortunately, this is what you can expect from a lot of young adults today. Four semesters of student teaching at the University of Texas did me in. I have absolutely no faith in this next generation. I had graduating seniors for whom a five page, double-spaced paper was just too much. One of them even dared to steal, verbatim, paragraphs from a book that I had been kind enough to lend him. I was removed from my position because I flunked more than 30% of the class for great ideas like that. May the deity of your choice watch out for your future, because the kids today are a raving pack of morons.
ReplyDeleteThat's a sad, sad story, Dan, but I don't doubt it for a minute.
