From The Duffel Blog...
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Officials from the Minnesota Department of Motor Vehicles have confirmed approval of a new policy making it mandatory for all active-duty and military veterans to register their status with the agency. The move will require all veterans to have a special “Vet” designation on their drivers’ licenses and state identification cards.
A number of retired Air Force Master Sergeants have also praised the Duffel Blog. At least two that I can think of.
ReplyDeleteBut you knew that, didn't ya?
I didn't know that, actually. How'd I miss yer post?
DeleteWait. You mean those articles aren't real? Dang. I wrote my congress critter!
ReplyDeleteHeh. The Duffel blog has sucked in a LOT o' folks. That said, I'm pretty sure yer tongue is in yer cheek.
DeleteAs a semi-proud Minnesotan, this satire cuts WAY too close to the truth to really be funny. We have a serious split between normal folks who live outside of the Twin Cities and those oh-so-gentle people who think the sun rises and sets because the State Authoritarians have commanded it to be so. Fortunately they tend not to reproduce, but they do vote.
ReplyDeleteWe have a similar split here in NM between normal/moonbats, too... moonbats in Santa Fe/ABQ, the rest of the state is pretty much normal. Sigh.
DeleteI got sucked in the the Duffel Blog - once. In a story about Nancy Pelosi that, given the person in question, seemed quite true.
ReplyDeleteHeh. I could see that!
